Meeting Minutes
October 8, 2025

Secretary Report: Megan Joseph. Jeff made a motion to approve, seconded by Kim. No further discussion. Motion carried.
Treasurer Report: John Christensen/Kayla Schurch. John made a motion to approve, seconded by Jeff. No further discussion, Motion carried.

Old Business
· Oct 13th sign is being hung (confirmed with Dustin)
· Owen requested that the Booster Club gives the school a heads up earlier (after August meeting) of what we tentatively plan on doing for Homecoming (big flag, national anthem, flyover, etc.).
· Homecoming Recap:
o Great turnout for the street painting. Done in about 30 minutes.
§ All supplies are in the janitors room, along with leftover paint.
o American Flag and National Anthem were a hit. Lots of helpers for the flag.
o HOF banquet-thanks to Kim for handing out awards.
o Spirit Sales-$3270.11 cost brought in $2074.65 with plenty left to sell next year. $125 cup sales from Dakota Fizz (she gave us 10% of sales from the night)
· Booster basketball tournament update. Jan 3rd.
· Facebook promotions: Great job to whoever is doing them!
· Markl Funds: Where are we sitting with the signs? Being put up Monday Oct 13th. Half money put down, owe them the second half after install.
· Meeting minutes: Last minutes posted to website in July. Kristi will get posted in the next day or so.
New Business
· Amanda, Steve, Kim, Michael, John on spring subcommittee for last chance track meet
· Investments: How much to invest? (7 months at 4% with First Dakota or Ameriprise 4.7% Time trial money market no risk)
o Michael will talk with Gary and Doug both to get more information and then put a vote out via Band app to the Board members to approve.
· Apparel opened back up on the 6th. Open until the 21st. Delivery date of November 5th. Pickup will be at Megans salon again. Carrie will open the link back up on the Booster website.
· State qualifier shirts-do we continue to do these? Is it ok that they receive the shirt after the event? Most places are a 7 day turn around time.
o Kim will get sizes and get the state golf boys shirts made
· Don and Sue Mohning sent a letter thanking the booster club for all they do along with a $500 donation.
· Basketball tournament: January 3rd at 8 a.m. (no back up date. If acclimate weather it will NOT be rescheduled).
o Winter committee needs to get together to start planning (Sign up genius(Brendyn said he would do this for us, as well as help with getting refs, and JollyTime popcorn again), volunteers, food to serve (hot dogs, Caseys pizza, donuts, baked goods), concessions)
· Frostbite 4: February 7th @ 11 a.m.
o See what we need to do to promote.
o Talk with Troy/Dawn to see where help is needed.
