6-6:05 Treasurer Report- Megan Joseph. John made a motion to approve, seconded by Michael . No further discussion. Motion carried.

6:05-6:25- John Christensen. Michael made a motion to approve via BAND app, seconded by Butch  . No further discussion. Motion carried.

  • Financial Updates
  • Sam Thorson Video-$250 invoice for homecoming video. Kayla made a motion to appove paying, seconded by Scott. No further discussion. Motion carried.
  • Invoice for the Softball bags was a 2023 request that was approved in June, ordered in Sept, School paid in October.
    • John never received invoice until last meeting when school gave it to him. Need to make sure the coaches are using the coaches requests forms and handing them in on time.

6:25-7:15 New Busincess

  • 6:25-6:45 Fall activity Sub Committee (Adam, Michael, Butch, Jill, Megan, Kayla)
    • Successes and areas to improve
      • Morning mingle needs to be looked at for getting more sponsors to show up or do we just need to get rid of it?
      • Instead of morning mingle maybe have some of our athletes go out and give a thank you card with picture on it to each sponsor the week of homecoming.
    • Apparel store reopen again shortly after closing and leave open til end of month.
    • Status on BABC shirts-Kim brought a sample to show us, her cost is $41/shirt.

  • 6:45-7:15 Winter activity sub-committee
    • Who are the winter members-Brendyn, Jeff, John, Kristi, Kim
      • Need to get together in October to start planning for tournaments (Sign up genius for volunteers, food to serve, concessions, Brendyn will check into getting large bags of popcorn from Jolly Time to be able to keep up with demand)
    • Spring sub-committee-Ashley, Scott,
    • Tournament entries to date-Dec 14th is date for Boys, Feb 22nd is date for Girls
      • Five Tool Twisters group bringing 15 teams, give them a discount to $125 from $140. Motion made by Butch to approve, seconded by Carrie. No further discussion. Motion carried.
    • Frostbite 4 (first weekend of February)-discuss how we help/promote. Jeff will reach out to Troy to make sure he is still willing to run. Otherwise we will need to start organizing.

7:15-7:30 Other Business

  • Light orientation for new members
  • Owen brought up wanting to have us purchase a clothing gift of some sort for each of the coaches per year.
    • Currently 28 coaches on staff. If we spent $50 a year on each one, it would be around $1500 total expense yearly.
    • Possible watchdog backpack with 3 pieces of gear abt $260/backpack. These would be to given to new staff members who are coaching.
  • Need to look into cutting out the commercials on Neptune-as they are very outdated. Jeff will talk to Owen about how to make this happen.
