Current Board Members: Kristi Adams(absent), Carrie Buum, Jeff Buum, John Christensen, Kim Erickson, Tim “Butch” Farley, Megan Joseph (absent) Krissy Kjose , Scott Klungseth, Jill Mockler(via phone), Adam Nelson(absent), Brendyn Richards, Kayla Schurch, Michael Schurch and Ashley Sharpe.

Guests: 

6-6:05-Secretary Report: Megan Joseph. Michael S. made a motion to approve, seconded by Butch . No further discussion. Motion carried.

6:05-6:25-Treasurer Report: John Christensen.  Ashley made a motion to approve, seconded by Scott . No further discussion, Motion carried.

6:25-7:20 New/Old Business

  • Winter Activity sub committee (Jeff, Brendyn, John, Kristi, Kim)

    • Tournament planning and updates

    • 46 Teams (4th and 8th grade still have spots open). 8a.m. first game and last game to start at 6:0 (Elementary), and 9:45 (high school).

    • Brendyn to order and pick up trophies. 

    • Tim and Gina will do shirts, haven’t seen a sample yet though.

    • SET UP: Starting at 5:30 Friday night

      • Owen-Will set up scoreboards (2 main, 1 multi purpose, 1 elementary) with cords. 

      • No sound system needed.

      • Tables/Chairs for selling in lobby area:High School: 1 for trophies, 4 for concessions, 1 for admissions (and 3 chairs and rope offs), 1 for t-shirts. Elementary School: 1 for admission (2 chairs), 2 for concessions (2 chairs), 1 for trophies.

      • Tape-4 rolls needed (booster club will reimburse or charge at ACE)

      • Trainer bags for each gym.

      • Brooms for both gyms.

      • Janitor:$100 to someone to be on-call

      • Food from the school:popcorn, soda, candy, water (stocked already for upcoming games). Have 2 coolers worth stocked and ready to take to Elementary from High School. Extra Powerade.

      • Owen-Big Red cooler. Kim will bring big white cooler.

      • Pre-popped popcorn: Jolly Time is $12 for 140 cups.

      • Locker rooms to remain locked.

      • Bleachers are gone in the MP room, so will have to set up chairs for spectators.

      • Scott mentioned garbage bags?

      • Stock Bathrooms and get key for dispensers.

      • Officials Room-the Wrestling Room for hospitality room for them. Cooler?

      • Roasters: Jill has one and Kayla Schurch

      • Jill will bring coffee maker for High School and John has one for Elementary.

      • Cash Boxes: School will provide 2 for Elementary and 2 for High School.

        • John will take care of the cash boxes at start up of tournament.


  • Frostbite 4

  • Need to find out Soup Prices. 

    • From Kayla via Band App:Chicken soup from the hospital-a case is 4-4lb blocks (each block is about 80 cups after water is added). The case of 4 is $61.01.

  • Bertz is a no go-Lunch ladies get the chili made and brought in.

  • Need to figure out who we want to have as the honorary starter and friend of the Watchdog.

  • Awards Banquet: May 8th


7:20-7:30 Other Business

  • Boys basketball backpacks. They were approved for $2000, but only spent $1749. Need an invoice from Owen for John to pay out (John asked if it was 50/50 or 100%, need to check minutes to confirm.
