Guests:

6-6:05-Secretary Report: Megan Joseph. Michael made a motion to approve, seconded by Scott . No further discussion. Motion carried.

6:05-6:25-Treasurer Report: John Christensen. Filed 990 with Frieberg law.

Ashley made a motion to approve, seconded by Jill. No further discussion, Motion carried.

6:25-7:20 New Business

  • Winter Activity sub committee (Jeff, Brendyn, John, Kristi, Kim)
    • Tournament entries to date
      • 21 official teams, added 2 more teams today and has 9 other teams he has talked to that are planning on registering as well.
      • Only 1 Beresford team, which is a 5th grade team. Need to reach out to coaches in town to ask about registering.
    • Tournament planning and updates
      • Not a lot of confirmed referees at the moment. Enough for about half the day currently.
      • Sent out volunteer sheets to coaches to get kids signed up.
      • Jeff will send out a short video asking for more volunteers.
      • Possibility of Janitorial crew coming in and doing clean up throughout the afternoon or at end of night. Will look into this if we don’t get enough volunteers.
      • Set up time needs to be determined for Friday night before tournament
    • Facebook promotion and updates
      • Store is currently open and will be delivered before Christmas.
    • Frostbite 4
      • Troy confirmed everything is running smoothly so far.
      • Need to reach out to Dawn and Eli to see if they are still wanting to help this year.
      • Only issue is Bertz does not want to cater the food this year.
        • Other potential options? Sub committee will meet and discuss.

 

7:20-7:30 Other Business

  • Scott reached out to Owen already asking him about potential dates for end of year banquet.
  • Discussion about stipend /apparel for new coaches or on a yearly basis, as per the idea Owen approached the Board with at the Oct. meeting. Will approach this again at a later date.
  • Jeff wil reach Owen for a print out with some clarification on Neptune cost.
