· Awards Night
o Received great feedback from the school district.
o Not all coaches put swag out, but the BABC members did a great job setting everything up.
o Too many cupcakes-dial back the number next year
o Booklets were a big hit again-Thank you Carrie for all your hard work on them!
o Missing one blanket- Kim will get a blanket and make one for him
· Last Chance Track Meet May 22
o Weather impeded the attendance (Next year it would fall on the last day of school anyways, so it would have to be a 5p.m or later start)
o Totals made that day= $116 admissions $152 concessions
o Dakota Timing cost is approximately $1100 as per Owen
o Do we want to keep doing this?
o Hard to get help this year since it was Memorial Day weekend

· Online Votes via Band App:
o May 23, 2026: Motion made to approve $25/athlete, approved via Band app. No further discussion. Motion carried.
§ Motion amended to approve the Booster Club also paying for the coaches meals by Nick, seconded by Andrew. No further discussion. Motion carried.
o May 29, 2026: Motion made to approve up to $400 for the State shirts for the softball team, approved via Band app. No further discussion. Motion carried.
o May 29, 2026: Motion made to approve the remaining $580.40 for track gear, with the exception of the Track Coach not requesting more track gear for the next 4 seasons, motion approved via the Band app. No further discussion. Motion carried.

New Business
· Coaches Requests
o Softball: Rapsodo annual membership $1000, Brookings Softball Camp $1100 (Camp isn’t confirmed yet-wanted to secure funding).
§ Approve up to $2100 for the Rapsodo annual membership, and the Brookings Camp. Motion made to appove by Nick, seconded by Butch. No further discussion. Motion carried.
· State Track Apparel
o 23 Athletes and 9 coaches-Thread & Ink Invoice $511.88. Motion made by Megan Buum to approve, seconded by Amanda. No further discussion. Motion carried.
o Moving forward with these requests-they need to reach out to the Board prior to, and the Board will approve via online vote.
· Jackson Anderson (Former student at BHS)- BSN Sports (apparel)
o They can keep our online store open all year long, and 2 days shipping once the item is printed/made, the customers order is shipped to them, but there will be a shipping cost.
o There is the possibility of opening a store and having a closing date, to be able to have bulk shipping like we have had in the past.
o Has the ability to open a “State Store” but cant guarantee that the athletes will have them before the State event.
o Motion made to go forward with BSN Sports by Kim to approve, seconded by Nick. No further discussion. Motion carried.
· New Secretary- Motion made by Butch to approve Kristi Adams as the new secretary, seconded by Stephen. No further discussion. Motion carried.
· Conversation with Storo about surplus laptop being donated to Booster Club. Michael will keep in touch with Storo about that.
· Volunteer of the Year award- Motion made to give this award to Brendyn Richards by Butch, seconded by Butch. No further discussion. Motion carried.
· CD cash out is available on June 12 and reinvest at a later date. Motion made by Nick to approve, seconded by Kim. No further discussion. Motion carried.
· Put Kim Erickson on the bank account and remove John Christensen off the account. Motion made by Jeff to approve, seconded by Nick. No further discussion. Motion carried.
· Makayla Adams will be in charge of the BABC facebook page. Motion made by Nick to approve, seconded by Butch. No further discussion. Motion carried.
