Current Board Members: Kristi Adams, Carrie Buum, Jeff Buum, John Christensen, Kim Erickson(absent), Tim “Butch” Farley, Megan Joseph, Krissy Kjose(absent), Scott Klungseth, Jill Mockler, Adam Nelson (absent), Brendyn Richards, Kayla Schurch, Michael Schurch and Ashley Sharpe.

Guests: Owen Reinalda, Troy Boone

6-6:05-Secretary Report: Megan Joseph. Scott made a motion to approve, seconded by Michael . No further discussion. Motion carried.

6:05-6:25-Treasurer Report: John Christensen. Ashley made a motion to approve, seconded by Carrie . No further discussion, Motion carried.

All American Sports check from October hasn’t been cashed. Need to check with them.
When we file our 2025 annual tax filing we need to give them an updated list of members.
John shows 8 teams registered for Girls bball team from online.
John brought up Kristi taking over the Treasurer position when he resigns.

6:25-7:20 New Business

Owen presented to give on-staff coaches new apparel. For 23 coaches it would be approximately $2300 per year (each coach would get the same non-sports specific item). He will do the leg work, just needs our approval.
Owen informed us the school is looking to pull their portion of paying for the summer Rozy program-approximately $3000. Would the Booster Club be willing to possibly pick that cost up, so the student cost stays the same. He will send information to Jeff in regards to how many students attend and what the amount would go up per student.

Winter Activity sub committee (Jeff, Brendyn, John, Kristi, Kim)

Frostbite (Saturday, Feb 8th) planning and updates
Facebook promotion and updates-start promoting
Google sign-up sheet for volunteers-Dawn Seeley will be sending out
Set up Night before (as per Owen-the latest we can get in to set up night before would be 7:30, but can use the lobby as early as 3:30). Put bags on tables this year to make names easier to find.
Food-ordering chili through school, Kayla will order chicken noodle through the hospital

We will need volunteers to heat up chili/soup and serving. Bridges has big pots that we should be able to use to warm up soups.
They have also served a salad with the soup in the past.

Honorary Starter and Friend of Watchdog- We suggested Brian and Rhonda Peterson
Need someone to do the national anthem at 10:30 a.m.-Cain Antoson play guitar was suggested (Megan will reach out and ask him).

Tournament takeaways

Going forward limit number of teams depending on the date (which has an effect on our volunteers).
Need to talk with coaches about making it an expectation for them as well as players to volunteer and help with these tournaments.
How do we get people that aren’t on the Board to volunteer and show up?

.Ordrering additional Board member shirts. Michael made a motion to approve, Ashley seconded. No further discussion. Motion carried.
Scholarships-Deb Lyle reached out to get Larissas scholarship paid. Need to look and see who else needs to be paid (Alec Atwook, Hallie Livingston).
Jeff will look into getting the Scholarship information updated and ready to send out in the Spring.
