Current Board Members: Dr. Joe Bak, John Christensen, Butch Farley, Mary Hansen, Mary Heiberger, Scott Klungseth, Tim Lawrence, Mike Lounsbery, Jill Mockler, Adam Nelson, Brendyn Richards, Dawn Seeley, Randy Quartier, Mark Van Otterloo, Jeff Buum

Absent: Jill Mockler, Mike Lounsbery, Tim Lawrence, and Dr. Joe Bak

Secretary Report – Mary Hansen, John motion to approve, Jeff 2nd.No further discussion, Motion passed

Treasurer Report – John, Scott motion to approve, Mark 2nd. No further discussion, Motion passed

  • Hall of Fame payment request - $1,000, Jeff motion to approve payment, Brendyn second. No further questions, Motion passed
  • Bill paid: $16.71: Shopify (CC bill), $243.96 to Brendyn Richards (Boomerang reimbursement)
  • Approved Boys Basketball request: $367.79- John to pay

    • Website administration ideas – updates? Mary Heiberger to give Jeff and Carrie Buum credentials to access and update Booster Club website.

 

  • Public Relations/Outreach: Mary Heiberger, Mike Lounsbery
    • Hospitality events – Review signup sheet
      • Any conflicting fundraising meals on double header nights – Owen
      • Signs for hospitality nights?
      • Where will tables & paper products be located – Owen
      • Updates on paper products inventory – any items to be purchased
      • Adam to purchase more paper products from Costco

 

  • Fundraising Events: Mary Hansen, Dawn Seeley, Tim Lawrence, Brendyn Richards
    • Youth Basketball Tournaments – subcommittee updates – Brendyn & Adam
      1. Watch for email to sign up for volunteering.
      2. Brendyn looking into Tournament App
      3. Several teams have registered for January 14th and February 25th dates
      4. Menu: breakfast: donuts, Lunch: Taverns, hotdogs, walking taco and baked goods, along with concessions: pop, popcorn, candy, and nachos.
    • Jensen Insurance would like to team up with the Booster club for a fundraising opportunity: Raffle tickets to be sold at home doubleheader games with a chance to win $500 during halftime of the girls’ and boys’ games. End of season one raffle to be drawn with a chance to win $25,000. Scott motion to approve, Mark2nd. Motion passed

 

 

 

  • School Enrichment: Mary Hansen, Adam, Scott, Dawn, Randy
    • Advertising at the baseball field – update on possible cost from Tim, further discussion
      1. BBSA: advertisement cost: $150.00 yearly for four year or $500 one-time payment.
        1. Mary motion to approve one-time $500.00 payment, John 2nd. Motion passed
  • Frostbite Four: 2/11/23, watch for email to sign up for volunteering. Plan to setup on Friday, February 10th
